Do I need an existing healthcare provider to request the test?
No. You can submit a request online without having an existing provider. A network provider reviews the request and orders the test if clinically appropriate. You will still need a prescribing provider for medication decisions.
Will this tell me exactly which medication to take?
No. It provides genetic information that can inform decisions about some medications. It does not guarantee effectiveness or replace clinical care.
Will Genomind change my prescriptions?
No. Genomind does not manage or change prescriptions. Discuss results and any medication changes with the prescribing provider who manages your care.
Can I use insurance?
Health insurance plans do not universally cover comprehensive PGx (genetic) testing, and reimbursement is not guaranteed. Genomind offers the Genomind At-Home PGx Test as a self-pay option only.
What happens to my genetic information?
